History

The Knowledge Management Company was founded in 2001 by Bert De Keyser and Dirk De Boever, two marketing and marketing research professionals who, after an extensive international career at Procter & Gamble and Sidmar respectively, found each other through their International MBA program at the Vlerick Leuven-Ghent Management School.

The main idea underlying the foundation of tKMC was the understanding that the hiring, development and retention of good people are the biggest challenges for today's companies. And at tKMC, we measure good people by their capacity to act effectively.

This makes tKMC stand out of the consultancy crowd: the success of good advice can only be measured by the level with which our advice is capable of increasing the organization's capacity to act effectively.

People working at tKMC have been carefully selected to 'live' this principle: wherever permitted, our services do not stand on their own. They are combined with an in-depth understanding of the development of our clients' organization on the knowledge curve and they are adapted to the skill level of our individual clients in those organizations. Only this makes it possible to leave the client at a higher level of understanding than the one found before the start of any of our assignments.
